Vacation with family is an important moment that should not be abandoned. Especially when we feel saturated and the heavy burden of work or school to be done as a routine.

Therefore, before the school holidays this summer, it is better to plan a family vacation, not just in places of entertainment in the city, but far out of town.

Currently the city of Palu, Central Sulawesi, is a very attractive tourist destination and good for family holidays. There were Palu Bay that we can explore while enjoying three very beautiful sights. Starting from turning down the Talise Beach, Taman Ria, and Coast Silae.

Talise beach is one of the mainstay attractions the city of Palu. The beach is located at the end of this stretch of the Gulf Palu Palu to Donggala. From the tourist sites of this stretch of the bay and the mountain looks so beautiful and charming. Its presence is near the city of Palu to make this beach visited by many tourists. On the beach, tourists can enjoy the natural scenery Talise beach with the stunning background of Mount Gawalise.

Talise beach now has become one of the resorts night. We can enjoy the beauty of Palu Bay bordering the Strait of Makassar under the bright moonlight, watching the beauty of the lights of fishing boats were moving in the middle of the bay as the waves slammed, also enjoy food and drink typical of Kaili.

Kaili is a genuine ethnic Palu. Many types of traditional foods and beverages that can be introduced to the family. For example, sarabba (water mixed with a little ginger and coconut milk), fried bananas, banana gepe (banana flavored grilled cheese or brown sugar), and roasted corn.

Not far from the beach Talise, if we walk leisurely to the west, will find Taman Ria. We can enjoy the same beauty in Talise beach. But, here is more complete because many stalls that sell traditional foods such as kaledo (beef bone soup) is eaten with cassava or rice, uvempoi (sour sauce from beef bones) are eaten with burasa (coconut rice wrapped in banana leaves), and uta chest (sort opor chicken). Ria Park Beach is also a restaurant that provides a complete menu archipelago, but still menu favorites is grilled fish.

Tired of walking on the beach? If so please enjoy the warm sea water in the morning. For those who like diving or snorkeling, will be able to enjoy the beauty of coral reefs in the form of colorful flowers and trees. Talise Beach, a swim 3 meters away from the beach, we've picked up by ornamental fish play among the coral.

For one or two week vacation filled with family, you do not have to worry about inn amenities. Talise beach is only 1km from the biggest hotel in the city of Palu and only 4 kilometers from the airport.

History Tours

Want to enjoy the natural beauty of the beach more, you can go to Ambon, Maluku. Once landed at the airport Pattimura, if we drive to the center of the city of Ambon, for 1 hour journey we will be treated to a captivating panorama of the Bay of Ambon which surrounds the island along the way.

Besides beautiful beaches, in Ambon we can do historical tours, study the history of Indonesia centuries ago. At the center of the city of Ambon, there is the oldest fort in the region, namely Fort Victoria. Portuguese fort built in 1775 was later taken over by the Dutch when it succeeded in repelling the Portuguese. The Netherlands also made Fort Victoria as the central government to dredge the wealth of indigenous spices.

After trading rempahrempah implemented in Ambon, Dutch built Fort Amsterdam at the beginning of the 17th century, not far from Old Hila Church. Before you build Fort Amsterdam, the Netherlands also built a castle, Kasteel Van Verre is a complete course of history we can dig in tourist locations.

If not satisfied with a history tour in Ambon, we can go to Ternate, North Maluku. We can see the Palace of the Sultanate of Ternate as a witness to the history of the important role of the Sultanate of Ternate XIII to the XVII century in Eastern Indonesia. In fact, during the golden age in the sixteenth century, the Sultanate of Ternate stretches up to the Marshall Islands in the Pacific.

Natural scenery in Ternate no less than other places. We can enjoy the highest volcano in North Maluku is Mount Gamalama. At the foot of Mount Gamalama we can enjoy the beauty of two lakes, the Great Lakes Tolire which resembles a giant pan and Tolire Small Lake.

While in Ternate, do not miss to enjoy the typical food called papeda made from corn starch. For the people of Ternate, papeda is a staple food like rice or corn. Papeda eaten with yellow sauce made of turmeric mixed with tuna. Food is also served with lemon makes immeasurably more pleasure.

To enjoy all the sights that we should not be confused with transportation. Aircraft owned airline Garuda Indonesia is ready to accompany the trip safely. Usually the Garuda plane from Jakarta to Ambon to leave at 9:30 with a single transit in Makassar. As of Ambon, the plane that went to Jakarta will take off at 17.00 CET. Flights to Ternate served for Garuda plane from Jakarta at 6:10 pm with the transit in Manado and arrived in Ternate at 13:00 CDT.

For a plane to Jakarta, departed from Ternate at 13:40 CDT and arrive in Jakarta at 16:20 pm. The Garuda flight to Palu will depart Jakarta at 12.00 am with a transit in Makassar and arrive in Palu at 17:05 pm. Garuda flight from Jakarta to Palu to leave at 17:45 pm every day

Prambanan is incredibly beautiful building built in the 10th century during the reign of two kings, Rakai Rakai Pikatan and Balitung. Rose as high as 47 feet (5 meters higher than Borobudur temple), the foundation of this temple has fulfilled the desire to show Hindu triumph in Java Island. This temple is located 17 kilometers from the city center, in the middle of the area that is now a beautiful park.

There is a legend that Javanese people always tell about this temple. Once, a man named Roro Jonggrang Bondowoso love. Because of his love, Jonggrang asked Bondowoso make 1000 temples with statues in one night. The request was nearly fulfilled Jonggrang asked the villagers to pound rice and make a big fire that created an atmosphere like the morning. Bondowoso who only completed 999 statues cursed into a statue to Jonggrang-1000 because he felt cheated.
